DAY 18 — AI Won’t Replace You. But Someone Using It Might
The real power of AI is not automation. It’s amplification.
There’s a lot of fear around AI right now.
People worry that it’s going to replace designers, writers, developers, and creatives.
But the more I study it, the more I realize something:
AI is a tool.
And like every powerful tool in history, the advantage goes to the people who learn how to use it well.
As a designer, AI doesn’t replace my thinking.
It speeds up my process.
It helps me:
• brainstorm ideas faster
• generate references and inspiration
• refine copy and messaging
• explore design directions
• test concepts quickly
But the taste, the strategy, and the decision-making still come from the human behind the tool.
AI can suggest.
You still decide.
And that’s the difference between using AI and being replaced by it.
If you rely on AI to think for you, your work will feel generic.
But if you use AI to extend your thinking, you move faster, explore deeper, and execute more ideas.
For example, as a UI/UX and brand designer, AI can help with:
• generating UX copy variations
• exploring colour palettes
• writing brand messaging drafts
• researching user problems
• organizing product ideas
But the real advantage comes from asking better questions.
AI responds to clarity.
The better your prompt,
the better the output.
So instead of fearing AI, I’m choosing to study it.
Because the future isn’t just about skill.
It’s about skill + leverage.
And AI is one of the biggest creative levers we have right now.
Used poorly, it creates noise.
Used well, it multiplies your potential.
Consistency reveals your tribe.
The scrollers leave.
The builders stay.
No Hype.
Just words that resonate.
Day 18/100.
See you tomorrow.

This is very true. It all depends on how we chose to see and use it.
